Bad Habits Die Hard

So school's starting in a week and a half and I still haven't fixed my sleeping pattern. I've been sleeping at 2 in the morning and had to wake up at 7:40 am twice a week for academy. Then I'd crash in the afternoon and it repeats all over again. So my school starts at 7:20. But the bus usually comes around at 6:35. Ridiculous I know. As you can obviously tell I can't wait till this year starts...

And what is up with the weather today? I wore flipflops and walked in 100 puddles. It rained SO HARD. My feet are frozen right now because the library has AC on. I still have an hour before my ride comes and I kinda want to go to Dollar Tree.

But I have good news! I'm finally planning on taking/uploading pictures and hauling the things I got this month today! I went to Marshalls two days ago and I got super good deals :) I got 4 things for $20. Pretty good right? My best deal so far this summer was when I got 7-8 things at JC Penny for $19. I know, it's crazy. But all you have to do is print or cut out some coupons and shop for clearance or marked down items. Plus, Labor Day's just around the corner so there are pretty loads of deals next weekend.

Earthquake, Hurricane, and School

So the weather's been amazing for the past week which makes me super duper happy ^^ But other than that, I have SO MUCH TO DO. To the point where I don't think I can handle it. Seriously. Oh, and there was an 5.8 earthquake yesterday in Virginia/East Coast. My dad dropped me off at the library and I was chilling because I was brain dead from academy. But the the floor just started vibrating. IT WAS REALLY SCARY. I've experienced a small earthquake before, but this was pretty big. The vibration wasn't that strong at first, but then it REALLY SHOOK. The guy next to me quickly hid under the table, so I copied him. I WAS SOOO SCARED!!! I thought I was gonna die! We had to evacuate and I couldn't even call my mom and dad because they cut off all the connection! Furthermore, there's a hurricane coming up this week...great. And after that, school starts. Well, even better -.- 

But I've finally finished my summer reading book! Yay! :D LOL I just have to reread and colormark and stuff. Also, I have to review my previous math things and SATs. I'm really scared for junior year (you have no idea), because I have so much to prepare for. I didn't even open my violin this whole summer (I never do actually) and I have district auditions this year :( I only practiced piano a couple of times and I have so many church activities that I'm not sure I can handle all of them. First of all, I signed up for the welcoming team at church which starts in September I believe. I'm continuing with Klema Ministry, which I really enjoy and can't wait for my 4th year! woopie! And I have a 9/11 rememberance ceremony and the earthquake emergency fair right after school starts. Oh, and did I mention I'm going to be a TA for korean school at my church? I'm not 100% sure I'm going to get the position because you have to take a test for it and takes up 5 hrs on Saturdays from Sept-June. So basically the whole school year. But I thought it'd be a good opportunity since I'm trying to improve my Korean and get ready for the sats this november. 

Other than school related things, I'm thinking about getting my license this year instead of next year. I honestly don't think I can rely on my dad for all this ride thing especially because there were problems at his work. The economy's getting worse, and he's been coming home 1-2 hrs later than usual. But I don't think we could afford a new car, and our school's having renovations this year so it's impossible to get a parking space unless you're a senior. Oh, and I'm getting my schedule next week!! KAHH!!!! XD 

Bad Drivers...

So I woke up at 7:45 and got ready for academy. After, I had lunch at Mcdonalds because I woke up late and couldn't pack lunch :P Then my dad dropped me off at the library. I literally stay there for 4-5 hrs. I usually bring my laptop along, but I stopped because I found it distracting. Anyway, I felt extremely tired and sleepy so I fell asleep while reading a book. When I woke up, this man was sitting in front of me. And OMG his legs kept touching my legs and it was extremely uncomfortable to sit with him. The weirdest thing ever is that I think the exact guy sat in front of me last week and kept putting his legs near my chair so whenever I'd change my leg position, our legs would get in contact...ughh.

So I did 2 hrs of sat math, but didn't get to read my book at all. I still haven't finished my summer reading and stuff, but I did get a couple of new school supplies! I LOVE GETTING NEW SUPPLIES ^^ It's better than the school itself. LOL anyways, so my dad came to pick me up and I drove home. I signaled to turn left, but cars kept on coming! I looked at the rear view mirror and I was pretty much holding up the traffic. But then this car stopped and signaled for me to turn left. So I waved thank you and I was in the middle of turning,  but the car that just stopped for me to go started driving again. I was like wth, you signal for me to turn but you end up going instead! DO YOU WANT TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT?! Our cars almost got in contact if I hadn't braked fast! Just....UGH WOW. My dad was on the passenger seat and was like criticizing the driver and pointing fingers.Yeah, he was pissed. I was sooo scared though...

So yeah, that was my day. Tomorrow I'm thinking of hauling some of the things that I got these past few weeks. Oh, and my mom got me a coach purse/wristlet! It's my "back to school present." ^^ I'll upload pictures tomorrow and haul them! So stay tuned!

Car Crashes, Mall w/ Bestie, and Computer Problems

So today, when my dad was driving to best buy, there was this huge traffic. In the end, we saw 6 cars parked on the side of the road. So from what I saw, the 1st car stopped suddenly, and the 2nd crashed into the 1st car's rear bumper. But the 3rd car stopped in time, so it didn't hit the 2nd car, but instead the 4th car hit the rear of the 3rd car. And the 5th crashed into the 4th car, and the 6th car crashed into the 5th car pretty badly. It was a train of accidents. And while going to the mall from best buy, there was another car accident...so many accidents today!

Anyway, so I went shopping today with this girl that happens to never show up on time. I've tried everything, but she can't fix it. I once even told her to meet up 30 min earlier than the actual meet up time because I knew she was going to be late. Haha but I still love her <3. So I haven't been to the mall since the beginning of July. I ended up buying three things.

From Sephora, I got:

• Sephora's hydrating & smoothing foundation for $5 in D20 (what a steal!). It's a bit light, but there were only like 5 shades left. 
• Sephora's eyebrow pencil 02 for $1

From Charlotte Russe:

• Blue dress for $9. They were having their happy hour sale (buy 1 get one 50% off) ans I wanted to buy 2 dresses. The other one was on sale for only $7.50, so I would've gotten that one for $4!!! But the sale ended by the time I went back to get the dresses :( sighh, but it's okay. LOL I think I'm going to go back to get it. IT WAS GORGEOUS!! 

 

When I got back home though, everything seemed to go downhill. My parents were worried about financial issues and my dad said the desktop computer wouldn't work. I tried to log on, but it wouldn't work! I was so scared! And I've already been through exactly 7 computer problems/viruses already, but I was lucky enough to fix all of them myself instead of wasting money at the shop. But fixing viruses and stuff are REALLY SCARY!!!  Plus, I was tired from the mall and stuff, but I decided that I had to fix it. So I googled the problem on my laptop and found websites and all, but none of them seemed to work. I tried like 3 different ones too. Now, I was really scared. So I searched it on Youtube and there was exactly ONE video. I followed the video super carefully repeating some directions 10 times, because if I deleted something wrong, the computer would be screwed for life. I wasn't worried too much because the comments that people left seemed really positive, but some said that it deleted all their files!!! But after doing this and that, I restarted the computer and literally prayed that it'd work. And guess what...IT WORKED!! I was so happy, you have no idea! I called my dad up and told him that the computer worked and lol he was SO HAPPY! :D And I left a thank you note in the comment box on youtube! He literally saved our computer! Teehee, so I'm in a good mood now :D Thank you God!

Okay, I have to bring myself together. I have to stop lazing around and stay active. I have to get these things done asap.

1. application for church welcoming team due this week! 
2. FINISH THE SUMMER READING BOOK!! JUST FINISH IT. 
3. sats
4. review math stuff from last year (very important) 
5. continue online chinese (IB chinese next year...-_-)

1. manager for a sports team. my parents are having a really hard time right now. I had to stop violin lessons 2 years ago, and they can't afford for me to learn golf or archery right now, so I think a sports manager will be a fun experience! :D 
2. earth force! help the earth stay clean!! and I also need to move around on fridays after school ;)
3.  maybe math honor society? :)
